Founded in 1999 HempAge AG is the legal successor of Colour Connection which has been active in hemp textile, wholesale and research since 1994.
HempAge is the leading european brand for hemp garments and accessories. Highest standards in sustainability are core of all products and developments of HempAge.
Our research daughter company “Bast&Faser” is developing decortication and processing technologies for textile and technical applications of hemp bast and fibers.
Starting 1994 in the Golden Triangle with hand spun and hand wooven fabrics HempAge started industrial hemp production in 1996 in Romania. For the improvements and developments in the romanian hemp industry our CEO, Robert Hertel was awarded with the title Honory Director of the Romanian Hemp and Linen Union. Since 2001 we produce yarns and fabrics in China. We support our partner with raw material from Europe and technical developments.
